Tanga is Tagalog for "stupid" (go ahead, google translate it...you know you want to)...also, "mirho" is Portuguese for "banana sling", so probably should accept that as well.
yea I tried tanga aswell. and not from portugal.. I thought a thong was only underwear not swimwear. (that is also what you get when you google it only images of the underwear and no swimwear. Not disputing that the word thong is indeed used for swimwear though, but apparently definately not the way it is most known.) and I thought speedo was what people called the tiny swimwear (I know, it is a brand, but like aspirin some brands become the name for the product.)
The mentioning of Tamil as the language of south India is worth a protest . There are a lot of languages spoken in south India . I myself a Keralite speaks Malayalam .
eh. None of the other major south Indian/Dravidian languages of India(Kannada, Malayalam or Telugu) or Sinhalese for that matter are 5 letters long. Neither does the question suggest that it is the *sole* language of the part of the world.
A lot of folks apparently don't know what quiz they were taking. Tamil may not be the only language is southern India, but it's the language that fits this quiz.
One could probably make a case for it, but it really doesn't belong here. There a few sections that probably should have been rewritten both for content as well as for letter variety (eg Kopek --> Kayak)
anyone else tried tundra for taiga? And I got roman by a total guess! I thought hmm a person starting with an r and ending with and n... roman, thought eternal city must be something in asia, so surely that is not it, but tried it anyway. In shock that it was right !!
I keed, I keed.
Can somebody explain me how this is counted as geography?
