I don't know what "conscription" means, so that's the only one I missed!

Admittedly, the word appears in protest songs much less than it did a couple generations ago! ;-)

For those of us rural people that actually go to the event, we call it the Demo Derby. Would consider accepting that.

How is it that Donnie Darko is one of my favorite movies, but I have absolutely NO RECOLLECTION of Patrick Swayze being in it??
+3

It's a minor role. Granted, it's a good minor role but it's still minor. Feels like a bit of a stretch to call the film a "Patrick Swayze movie". Yes, he's in it and it's more than a cameo, but that's kind of a low bar to word it like that.

He's the fear guru! He appears in the video series that Ms. Farmer forces the kids to watch, and he's also the one who finds Donnie on the golf course. The ending of the movie also has a LOT to do with his character. Gosh, I love that movie...

I tried duster devil and devil duster.. :( and I got derby but coukdnt think of a second word... (tried disco and driving..) and am allmost positive I typed double dutch correctly. Not with capitals or a space, but that isnt necessary right?

Must have somehow done something wrong, cause (though I have seen a few) these quizzes are usually correct.

I tried "delivery date" for "Nine months after conception." Of course, the due date is not always the delivery date - some little ones are early; some are late.

I tried "dirt devil" before thinking of "dust devil."
