Ok so using PEMDAS 2 + 3 x 5 + 6 becomes 23 not 31. Second of all, the Mayans didn't predict the world would end, their calendar just ended because they believed humanity would enter a new era starting in 2012. Third, Bahamas and Bermuda don't touch the Caribbean Sea, the are in the Atlantic. Last but not least, America is a not a country, the United States of America is.
Wait, if you understood that it was an April Fools joke, why did you bother to correct some of the answers? And if you just wanted to make sure the correct information was out there, why didn't you correct ALL of them?
Right, so, turning it in to "maths", on the assumption that because it ends in "s" means that it's plural, is wrong. It would be similar to abbreviating "economics" as "econs" instead of just "econ"
31! Bummer! I tried 55 and 33. I even got desperate and tried the right answer -- 23. If I'd only turned around the method I'd used to get 33 I would have got it.
Jaja nice quiz though. I think incredible that America is a common answer for some people, 'cause outside USA, America is clearly a continent itself, divided between north and south. It has no space for misunderstandings.
My Argentinian relatives would agree with you. In Central Europe, however, people often call the USA "America". (kalbahamut might stop by here and explain that your life has been a lie)
I will echo previous comments--at least two wrong answers given. "America" is not a country. Australia is the correct answer. And, for the math problem, look up or google PEMDAS. Answer is 23. How in the world did you get 31?
That was confusing, questions like the one about tomatoes, ostriches and Marco Polo and Santa were correct, but then there were also strewn through some randomly incorrect ones like America and the maths were incorrect.
Then some were misconceptions that were proved wrong, like the Bumble Bee one.
I'm not sure if it makes sense for April Fools or not :P
Thank you, QM, for my new word today - cromulent. Never heard that one before. I'd also like to nominate this comment section for inclusion in the Jetpunk Hall of Fame.
first of all it is united states of america not 'America' . so the largest country by letter A would be Australia and by the way bulls are colorblind taking any cloth any waving it in their face will enrage them.
It took me a while to get the maths question, and also to try and throw out incorrect answers was fun, if challenging. Can we please accept Africa for the largest country, it's bigger than America at the end of the day, he he he :P
Fun! I do think the cell phone question should be altered though since the scientific reports released a few days ago show evidence for brain cancer in rats.

Grammatical error in the sentence "What type of animal becomes enraged it it sees the color red?" The word it appears twice. It should say "What type of animal becomes enraged if it sees the color red?"
I am confused by this quiz since some of the answers are actually right and some ar april fools answers. Next time make sure all answers are factually right or all of them are april fools... Not a mix of both
The best part about all these comments is that they're SO adamant and haughty about being smarter than everyone else, but they're so dumb that they've missed the ENTIRE point of the quiz.
Also the largest "A" country is not America, Africa is larger.
For question #18, should the correct answer be the Atlantic Sea? Also I'm pretty sure Bermuda isn't a country; it should be an overseas colony of America, if I'm correct.

But yeah, good April fools joke
Please correct, there can't be two wrong answers just as it's April fools day
2+3*5+6
= 2+3*11 (as 5 is the first alphabetically)
= 2+33 (as 11 is first alphabetically)
= 35
How in the world did you manage to read the comments saying that Australia and 23 were the proper answers, yet miss practically every other comment?
Then some were misconceptions that were proved wrong, like the Bumble Bee one.
I'm not sure if it makes sense for April Fools or not :P
Also the largest "A" country is not America, Africa is larger.
but only if you answered with "Africa".
