I hate that I knew the Twilight answer, but thankfully I only knew it from Parks and Recreation

These are not the best-selling authors of all time, they are just authors who have written "best-sellers"

I thought for a moment that Jurassic Park was Conan Doyle, because in my mind I had for some reason read it as The Lost World.

Why are there so few things from the early nineteen century and before? This quiz is too modern-centric.

My guess is probably that (besides that we have better numbers on "bestsellers" in the 20th century to now than earlier) once you get into the 1800s and earlier your choices are either "authors who were best-sellers in their time but whom no one will have heard of today," which would make the quiz too hard, or "authors who have transcended 'best-selling' to become legendary," which would make the quiz too easy.
