No, I looked at an archived quiz from back in 2010, and there definitely was a comments section. This was right around the time JetPunk was transitioning away from being primarily a travel site to being just quizzes.
Other fun notes from this time: the second most popular quiz after Countries of the World was NFL Football Teams, which has since dropped to sixteenth, and the tenth most popular quiz was City Skylines, which has mysteriously disappeared in the years since (as has the quiz I linked). You can see the homepage of JetPunk the travel website here. Crazy to think some JetPunk users weren't even alive at this time.
I know all the countries...that's about it for me. I've tried taking the capitals quiz and the only one that I remember that I didn't know before is Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso and that's only because it sounds so awesome.
I always remember Ouagadougou because I spent some time there a while back. The ancient capital's name is almost as good: Bobo-Dioulasso. There's also Koudougou, Moussodougou, Doulougou... incredibly beautiful and safe country.
I got 21 but I think 100% is achievable next time; I had them all in the back of my brain somewhere, just didn't realize that Pretoria is so big!
I'm actually surprised about how high the guess-percentages are. But then again, why would someone who doesn't know anything about Africa take this quiz.
It gives a good overview of the capitals of the medium and large African countries.
I know little about Africa, but before taking quizzes on this site I would have known even less. That's why someone who doesn't know anything about Africa takes the quiz. Next time (hopefully) I'll know more.
Me too! I've been to Cameroon 7 months ago and I thought I could finally use something I learnt there. Turns out both Yaounde and Douala are next on the list, according to citypopulation.de...
I was surprised not to see conakry here given the column show the flag of guinea but I suppose red, white and black for Egypt is not so typically African.

If these trends continue, in the year 2140, Bamako will have a population of 1.95 billion.
Somehow I think that's unlikely...
