I am surprised that people haven't heard about this city which is famous for saints, sufism and is one of the oldest cities in south asia. it even existed before the foundation of Lahore, Pakistan's second largest city. It held much importance in the cultural, economic and political arena of south asia before british rule.

City proper vs MSA always gets me with US cities cause I know that Memphis, TN is much bigger than Miami and Minneapolis, when using city proper. But of course, it doesn't absorb nearly as many towns

The numbers are completely wrong, there is no way that Manila has bigger population than Mumbai or Mexico city, the same thing with milan for example, its population is about 1.5 mil so nowhere near 5mil.....

Check it up yourself, before commenting with "I cannot believe you didn't include *blank* because there is absolutely no way it has fewer people than *blank* and I have no source to back up my claim but I just know you're wrong!"
