I know it's been a while, but I really hate the fact that they added clues. These used to be some of my favorite quizzes on this website because they made you actually think through the cities you know. Now it's just about whether you known how to say "table" in Spanish!

Consolidated city/county governments like Macon-Bibb County can distort population numbers. However... it seems like a very good idea from a cost savings standpoint. Here in Seattle we pays taxes to both the city and the county, many of whose functions seem redundant.

Got Murrieta, the least guessed answer, because it's next to Temecula, a city that has my favorite casino. Now I just need this luck to stay with me until my next round of roulette.

Look at the sea in Spanish would translate to Mirasmar, not Miramar (look at the sea being a command, therefore having the implied pronoun of you). A more correct interpretation would be he/she looks at the sea (while it still is acceptable given usted - another form of you, tú - also you - is used much more often).

I'm so confused. How can a suburb be a city? Where I come from, a city is the entire urban/suburban area, in every direction, until you reach rural areas. Technically, a city can also be a municipality, that is, a region with its own local government, but that's not what city means in everyday parlance. The caveat says 'city proper', but that does not help.

What you're describing, a city with its own government and borders and such, is the definition of city proper.
