The question says "The average American male has one that is about 10.5" long", so yes - it specifies one which, in common parlance, discounts having more than one.
Ugh, what a boring post, and I'm not even sure I'd stand by it anyway
I had a dirty mind on the first question and then it took me until the nephrologist to not wanting to type a very specific body parts as my first guess...
What about belly button / navel for a specific pasta shape? From the wiki page on tortellini: "They are sometimes also described as "navel shaped", hence their alternative name of "belly button" (ombelico)".
I'm pretty sure I actually learned about this from another Jetpunk quiz.
Edit: Ok, I just saw that macaroni is the name of a specific pasta type so my suggestion doesn't really work. Oh, well, I'll just leave the comment as an interesting tidbit of trivia.
He didn't want the foreskins for themselves; they were meant as proof that David had killed a given number of Philistines.
Any other body part would have worked as a trophy, but foreskins mark the difference between Jews (circumcised) and Philistines (not), so they're a fitting symbol, and additional proof that the dead were Philistines and David didn't just rob Jewish graves to fake it.
Saul expected David to get killed rather than succeed, but slaying 100 or 200 enemies is pretty good too.
Those are some crazy in-laws I could do without. Was there an official count of foreskin? --- "Dave, I only count 97 here. You think you can marry my daughter with only 97 Philistine foreskins? A couple of these look suspiciously Phoenician."
I see what you did there. 😉
