So the average American male has a 10.5-inch-long ... Foot?

Doesn't the average American male have two that are about 10.5" long each?

Yes, but that doesn't make the question any less accurate.

The question says "The average American male has one that is about 10.5" long", so yes - it specifies one which, in common parlance, discounts having more than one.

Ugh, what a boring post, and I'm not even sure I'd stand by it anyway

I assume you’d want to stand at least 11” away. Otherwise you’d be on a toe!

Alternatively, you could stand ~9" away if youre okay standing on feet but not toes

it's not necessarily dirty-minded to mention the word penis. it's a part of some people's bodies, and is a valid guess for some of these clues.

Haha first time I see them called elbows. I wanted to ask what kind of elbows Americans have but i see Italians actually call them the same

Elbow is kind of a general term for such a shape, used in plumbing and geography, for example.

What about belly button / navel for a specific pasta shape? From the wiki page on tortellini: "They are sometimes also described as "navel shaped", hence their alternative name of "belly button" (ombelico)".

I'm pretty sure I actually learned about this from another Jetpunk quiz.

Edit: Ok, I just saw that macaroni is the name of a specific pasta type so my suggestion doesn't really work. Oh, well, I'll just leave the comment as an interesting tidbit of trivia.

He didn't want the foreskins for themselves; they were meant as proof that David had killed a given number of Philistines.

Any other body part would have worked as a trophy, but foreskins mark the difference between Jews (circumcised) and Philistines (not), so they're a fitting symbol, and additional proof that the dead were Philistines and David didn't just rob Jewish graves to fake it.

Saul expected David to get killed rather than succeed, but slaying 100 or 200 enemies is pretty good too.

That makes a lot of sense. I assumed the part about proving he had actually killed them, but I didn't think about also proving that they weren't Jews.

Someone should definitely make a Bible version of this.

Samson's hair.

Adam's ribs.

Jesus's hands/feet.

That one guy's ear.

(Just to name a few).
