Have never read (or seen) The Maltese Falcon but honestly always assumed it was set in Malta. Got it on this quiz only because I knew the rest of them and had time to spam states for that one. Fun quiz!

"But it is a sin to kill a mockingbord," said Atticus.

"Why?" asked Scout.

"Well, their name's already been misspelled. Now you're just adding insult to injury."

That's the one that inspired the show Dexter, right? Because that's how I got Florida.

Similar to a quiz I did a few years ago, though I think I had one for every state.

The only one I knew for sure was The Great Gatsby (because I had to study it for English class), but I still managed to guess all of them with 1:30 remaining!

The Notebook was set in South Carolina (although Cold Mountain was set in North Carolina). You could have ’Cape Fear’ for North Carolina, or ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer?’
