I was about to whinge about the use of “batter” instead of “batsman”, @Jerry928. Before I did so I checked the facts. I discovered the following, which I applaud on one level and deplore on another:
'The Laws of Cricket have officially been amended to include the gender-neutral terms “batter” and “batters” rather than “batsman” and “batsmen”.
In an effort to make the sport’s language more inclusive, Marylebone Cricket Club agreed on the changes following thorough discussion among the Laws sub-committee.’ https://www.foxsports.com.au/cricket/about-time-cricket-makes-move-from-batsmen-to-batters/news-story/ae5d2617853a6da2b60ec97b32fe8199 23 September 2021

Being part-Welsh, I am always on the look out for commentators claiming someone is Scottish/Welsh if they lose and British if they win, and I never hear it. Perhaps we should put this rubbish to sleep now - oft said, doesn't happen in the real work (probably because most commentators have been trained to avoid saying it!).
When I saw the Phil Taylor question, I thought "they're considering drumming a sport?!" (Motorhead fans will get it) ;) I'm not sure the activity in the actual answer is any more of a sport than drumming...
agreed. right next to the wimbledon tennis grounds there's a big golf course - also in the neighbourhood of wimbledon. the question could be amended to something like 'at the all england club, wimbledon' or an equivalent to make it clear you mean 'at the same grounds as the wimbledon grand slam'

Also, Ton is definitely a term for 100 runs in Cricket and should be accepted.
Good quiz otherwise.
Beckham was my first answer as he played in four different countries and of course he is even more famous because he is married to that "singer"
The answer is still the same
Would also be nice to have at least one Welsh and one Northern Irish question in a 'British' quiz.
AFC Wimbledon for example is also famously playing in Wimbledon (football) and there are other sports as well.
