One question: how it's possible that the closest capital to Jakarta is Singapore and the closest to Singapore is Kuala Lumpur? It's a bit nonsense, isn't it?
Not entirely sure what the original looked like but here's a recreation-ish. As per @vladi98, the closest point to B (Jakarta) is A (Singapore), but the closest point to A (Singapore) is clearly C (Kuala Lumpur).
Included for reference: The next closest to any of them, D (Bandar Seri Begawan), clearly doesn't affect the calculations.
That's not nonsense at all. If you stand six feet away from me, and I stand seven feet behind kalbahamut, kalbahamut is closest to me, you're closest to kalbahamut.
..... Here we go again with the people from the UK that don't live in England. Listen, if you want to be considered a country, then get your independence. In the meantime, the capital of the WHOLE of UK is LONDON.
J...........S..K <-- Look here. The closest letter to J (Jakarta) is S (Singapore), but the closest letter to S is K (Kuala Lumpur). Now pretend that these are capitals on a world map.
I'm surprised that Tallinn is the closest capital for Stockholm because I thought Oslo then (in order) Copenhagen, Helsinki, Berlin, Warsaw, Riga, Vilnius and Tallinn lastly...
I tried Sana'a for Oman, then found that it was Abu Dhabi but I never would have got it for Djibouti, but I suppose it makes sense, as East Africa is very close to the Arab Peninsula.
Surprised Singapore is closer than Dili to Jakarta. Tallinn was very interesting to learn too. I tried Copenhagen,Helsinki, riga,Berlin,Warsaw,Oslo and Vilnius before finally getting it.
Belfast is the capital of Northern Ireland and Cardiff is the capital of Wales. Neither Wales nor Northern Ireland are sovereign nations and thus neither Belfast nor Cardiff are capitals.
I always get confused with Banjul, and Bangui (the capital of the CAR) so I kept trying to type in stuff like N'djamena and I was so confused when it said Dakar senegal
Closest point to B is A, but closest point to A is C!
Included for reference: The next closest to any of them, D (Bandar Seri Begawan), clearly doesn't affect the calculations.

No space,capitals ....never...
"are ever would be more correct."
I tried Sana'a for Oman, then found that it was Abu Dhabi but I never would have got it for Djibouti, but I suppose it makes sense, as East Africa is very close to the Arab Peninsula.
Thanks!
But to quote the great Ned Ryerson, that first step is a doozy.
