Only one I didn't get was olive. Olives are a fruit?? It seems obvious now...but perhaps a clue like "Often found in martinis" would be more helpful haha.
It looks pretty much like a ruby colour on my monitor, amethyst is much more bluey/purple than that given as ruby. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amethyst
champagne... wine... burgundy... bourbon... rose... those are all color words, right? looks like champagne to me. chartreuse?? wth... also had no idea teal was a type of duck.
The 'Blue Winged Teal' has lovely coloured patches on top of spread wings. You don't notice it until they open out their wings and get a beautiful flash of this bluey-green colour.
Had a brain spark in the final 8 seconds of time and got the final three to ace it. Some of these are really open to interpretation - olive, for example...
Liqueurs are made by adding other flavours to standard liquors, making a weaker version of the base flavour (such as turning standard whiskeys into honey whiskeys). Chartreuse is not one of these; I think you'd find it hard to find anyone who would classify it as a liqueur - it's damn strong. Perhaps call it a hard liquor instead?
They're really awful as adults, like otters.
And not for nothing, like 80 tins of Underwood Deviled Ham from Uncle Pete under the sink, amongst the towels.
Mercurochrome. Bacitracin. Hai-Karate.
Good memories
Two ships collided, one carrying blue paint & the other carrying red paint. What happened to the crews?
after reading it, it reminded me of the cat breed, but that is written chartreux
