Denmark, Israel, Nigeria and Dominican Republic are the countries that I missed... I live in Belgium and Magyar is Hungarian for Hungarian or Hungary (I went 8 times to Hungary, so :D ) and Caecescu gave Romania away for me, but Dominican Republic I couldn't guess.

You didnt get it by the more obvious clues Nokia and sauna? those should have atleast directed you to Nordic countries/Scandinavia, so would leave only a few to guess between.

I did not know the Horn of Africa denotes the region containing the countries of Eritrea, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Somalia. I thought it was just Somalia, but I couldn't think of the name in time anyways.

Isn't Khyber Pass in Pakistan? I know it 'cause I'm Pakistani. It links Landi Kotal to Peshawar, and only a minute part is in Afghanistan. So it can't be a clue, as the majority is in Pakistan. By the way nice quiz, and that Djibouti clue is actually funny.

This makes sense, but historically the Khyber Pass is known as a chokepoint, crossroads and invasion route between Afghanistan and the subcontinent, so even if the feature itself is mostly in Pakistan, it seems a valid hint for both countries (lots of these clues could apply to more than one country, taken in isolation).

Im surprised there isnt any arguing about the clues. In every other quiz people liked to complain. And then it is about facts. What a country is known for is quite subjective. If you'd ask 100 different people you d get 100 different lists.

if it was possible that might be interesting. Putting up a country and see what people think it is famous for.

let me see the first things that come to my mind for some of the countries above.
