I got those trees! And only because I read comments in another installation of this series of quizzes where someone said these trees looked very much like baobabs. And I agree about the yellow box.

it's kind of sad that kazakhstan must be represented by such a photo.

Anyway, awesome quiz! i support the yellow box proposal because i got some countries by trying to guess other photos, thus spoiling the quiz a little.

Out of curiousity, how did the boat get stranded?

Did it dry up that fast, or did the owner just not bother to move it?

Isn't the Aral Sea also in Russia? And the one with the rock looked like a place in Vietnam.

No, it's far from Russia. It's shared with Uzbekistan. So either of those countries should work, those abandoned rusty ships are in both countries.

I knew Yemen because those trees grow on the island of Socotra (Island in Yemen).

I don't get why a country as huge and diverse as India with hundreds of examples of marvelous architecture needs to always be identified by the Taj Mahal. I agree it's a beautiful monument but you guys seriously need to update your view of the country. There are many other iconic sites within India whose photograph would have made the quiz more interesting and challenging.

Yeah, I guess it was the Ghats of Varanasi. Taj Mahal is just a iconic symbol of India, like the Eiffel Tower is of France, Pyramids are of Egypt, Opera House is of Australia, St Basil's Cathedral is of Russia, Big Ben is of Uk, etc. (Conditions Applied)

What's "czetch"? Czech is pronounced the same way as "check". There's no "tch" at the end.

on another quiz people were confusing those trees with baobab (which are in madagascar). Both funny shaped trees, but look different.
