I'm surprised that China did not have a higher men to women ratio. It's my understanding that because of the one child per family law, that female babies are often aborted.

I think they have more men in absolute numbers but a much bigger population so the ratio isn't as unbalanced.

China's population is around 102% that of India's - hardly "much bigger".

I was also a bit surprised that China's ratio wasn't worse than India's.

It's getting closer every day. 3 years ago the gap was bigger. But even today 2% of the population of India is nearly 28 million people.

You either know the answers, or know enough that you can make reasonable educated guesses, or you don't. If you just went through every category and listed the 196 countries of the world until you got a right answer what fun is that? It makes the quiz less fun and the stats less meaningful if there's unlimited time. If you get to one you don't know, move on, finish the quiz, and if you have time come back and keep guessing randomly. If you then time out and it's really important to you to get 5 points, look at the ones you missed, restart the quiz (effectively doubling the amount of time you have!), and take it again. If you know the answers 3 minutes is way more than enough time.
