THE CLUE WAS CHANGED. SEE THE QUOTE ABOVE AND THE COMMENTS RIGHT UNDER YOUR POST. TYPING IN CAPS DOES NOT COME ACROSS VERY FRIENDLY, AND MAKES YOU LOOK QUITE DAFT WHEN YOU ARE INEVITABLY PROVEN WRONG.
The goerge cross on Malta's flag is not our coat of arms, its just an honorary symbol pinned on the map since we received the george cross as an entire country not individually.
Many more flags have a cross in them. There is a cross in the flags of Liechtenstein (top of Crown), Moldova (in the beak), Montenegro (on the orb, scepter and crown), Portugal (intended and implied in the Shield), San Marino (in the crown), Serbia (crown and shield), Spain (crown), and Vatican City (crown, keys, stole).
If Georgia is considered part of Europe, then it is nothing but crosses.
Liechtenstein's flag's crown isn't part of the coat of arms. Their flag is a red half bottom and a blue half top with a crown in the left blue part of the flag. There is a tiny cross at the top of the crown. Their coat of arms flag is 2 eagles in the upper left and lower right, a sideways Indonesia flag in the lower left, and black & yellow stripes with a vine-like plant in some sort of curtain. 2 very different flags. Fun fact: Liechtenstein had an army of 800 then declared war on Italy, then Liechtenstein immediately surrendered, but gaining one Italian soldier in the progress, then giving up on an army.
You are one of those idiots aren't you. Muslims won't take over Europe and the world, and if you believe that you should check up some statistics and do some simple math.
It's not going to happen soon. But to deny that it's a possibility seems naive. If current trends of immigration and birth rates continue, Europe will become majority Muslim at some point in the next 100 years or so. That's a big if, but maybe you can do the math and report back.
Most reports seem to show around 10-15% in 2050 - from 6% in 2010. How could Islam possibly become a majority in Europe. The closest it would get is if enough Christians become nonreligious and Islam becomes the largest religion. Also, when has any demographic trend lasted 100 years. Migration, birth rates, death rates have changed rapidly in the past 100 years, and will continue to change. Most reports ignore the fact that Muslims can also become nonreligious, will continue to have higher birthrates - things that can easily change in the next 100 years.
Reportedly Amsterdam already has Islam as its major religion. There are some debates on whether Christianity should be reported as one, as in the link below, to show that Christianity is (still) the largest. Catholic and Protestant are probably as similar as Shiia and Sunni? So you can argue either way. No more detail is given on non-Christian religions in most statistics in Europe.
The Vatican flag has at least 9 crosses on it, without resorting to counting the crossing of the keys. However, since all of those are in the coat of arms, they don't count for this quiz.
It is nothing like holland and the netherlands. There is no holland. There are the provences north-holland and south-holland. Holland is not a thing. When visiting those provences noone ever would say we re going to holland. (Or "im from holland", for that matter, if you were born in either of those provences)
like in australia, they dont say wales when they mean new south wales do they. (Do they? No right?)
Btw the Netherlands is simply the part in europe. The kingdom of the Netherlands DOES exist of several constituent countries (plus some oversees special municipalities)
the constituent countries are: the Netherlands, Aruba, Curacao and sint Maarten. The special municipalities are Bonaire, Saba and st Eustatius.
So if you would have said it is like Curacao and the Netherlands. Your example wouldnt have been completely off (cause it is now).
You can put Holland for the Netherlands, and it will still count, due to the fact that many people (including me) call it Holland, and since its such an important region.
Man this is the whiniest comment section I have seen on this site!
First of, read, descriptions are there for a reason. I you have something to whine, look there first... Secondly eventhough the symbol on the flag might not match the coat of arms specifically... you get what he means.. or well I guess some dont...
maybe he should ve said symbol instead of coat of arms, but that would open a whole other can of worms..
