Level 75
May 26, 2023
I tried that too.
Level 81
May 26, 2023
Likewise, though Eve is obvious when woman doesn't work.
Level 92
Jun 8, 2023
Agreed, if Eve is the answer, the interrogative should be who.
Level 78
May 27, 2023
The Bible question asks WHAT did God create with Adam's rib, but "woman" was not accepted as an answer. If "Eve" is the only answer, it should be WHO did God create with Adam's rib.

Pretty sure I've always heard it as 'climbing up the spout'... but then it was 'Incey Wincey Spider' where I grew up too
Level 78

Thanks to Jetpunk I've discovered that the lyrics are slightly different across the Atlantic. "Up the waterspout" is what I grew up hearing in the USA. To me, your version sounds wrong, like it needs more syllables. I agree that "spout" should probably be accepted, though, considering the other comments on the topic.

'Incy wincy spider climbing up the spout' scans pretty much the same as the US version.

picky scottish person here, but it should be "should auld acquaintance" in the answer, although obviously putting 'old' is the english form of that word so should be accepted as an answer
Level 75
Mar 7, 2024
Aye I thought that too, especially since it's written 'auld' in the question - it's the same word.
