Elway led the Broncos to 5 Super Bowls as a player and 2 as General Manager, not 6. Won 2 as a player and 1 as GM.

For the curious: Denver was awarded the '76 Winter games in 1970 by the IOC. In 1972, Colorado voters rejected the plan to fund the games and Denver withdrew. The IOC eventually chose Innsbruck, a former host city that was not even in the running for 1976 originally.
