That answer made me wonder if they had renamed the Matterhorn, which also had one. Different park.

Makes me realise that Disney built his empire by simply copying stories from elsewhere.

You just realized this?

Yeah, no freakin kidding. The Lion King - in the 90's - was the first wholly original concept. That's nuts.

Is it wholly original if it was influenced by Hamlet?

Also look up its similarities (allegedly accidental) to Kimba the White Lion.
+2
Level 78

It has superficial similarities to Kimba. The person who did the Ted Talk about the Lion King ripping off Kimba did shoddy research and is generally incompetent.

So did Shakespeare.

I wonder exactly say Shakespeare had an empire.

All the world was his stage.

His theater was The Globe.

Sounds like someone with designs...

Maybe consider allowing candlestick and perhaps even just candle?
+6
Level 78
Oct 29, 2015
Candlestick I can see (in fact during "Be Our Guest" he even says "I do tricks, with my fellow candlesticks" thereby referring to himself as a candlestick) but definitely not candle.

Level 76

I thought it was candlestick. Quick googling shows candelabras being for several candles and a candlestick for just one. - Still think candlestick is close enough.

Candlestick will work now

I think candle should be allowed as well or at least candles - tried for ages to figure this one out.

Maybe also add Chandelier. It's the French word for it and after all, his name is also French...

@thecrusher a chandelier is something else. They are those fancy lamps that hang from the ceiling

A yeti isn't an animal, I tried yak first and wasted a lot of time trying to think of any other animal that began with "Y". I guessed yeti by fluke based on the title of the roller coaster.

Could you please change the word animal to creature or beast or something like that?

Level 60

How could something be a creature or beast, but not an animal?
+3
Level 69
Mar 22, 2020
A mythological beast, for instance... the word 'animal' suggests it's a real animal you could see for yourself

His head and hands are candles, which are pretty important. He'd only be a torso and some arms if he was just the candelabra.
