Yea I was stumped, when gummi didnt work I tried gummibear obviously. Then I guessed english must have altered it and tried gummie/gummy. But it looks really really weird like this.
Does it really say gummy on the packaging from america?
btw who remembers the television cartoon the gummibears? :) I can just picture them now, and have a vague recolection of the song. I remember that I remembered it for a long time. Hmmm my mind says "we, are, the gummibearss" now. Will have to look it up haha
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRTSZZgCUik Good memories :) I was very young then I believe. ALso teddy ruxspin suddenly pops in my head oo and vrouwtje theelepel haha. And dungeons and dragons with the dungeon master
It's a German thing. Gummibär. Originally made by German candy company Haribo. Though Americans produced a cartoon series based on them called the Gummi Bears (not the Gummy Bears).
I agree that gummi should be accepted but gummy is just fine. This is about gummy candy as in gelatin-based chewable sweets not brands like Haribo Gummi Bears or Trolli Gummi Worms.
