I think "noob" should work for Neophyte, if we are really trying to dumb it down.
And "genie" really isn't another word for "djinn," it's just a corruption of "djinni" which is the plural of "djinn," not even that much of a corruption, really, as corrupted words go.
yes thanks for the link. I knew all of that. what are you trying to prove? I've also got the original AD&D Monster's Compendium so I know where this stuff about djinn and ifrit comes from.
Note it says Ifrit are a subclass of Djinn. Ifrit are Djinn. They are not seperate races of "genie" as in D&D and the many different RPGs and fantasy novels/films that copied them over the years. I live amongst people who still believe in these things.
Love the idea of Chesterfield for couch. Oddly, I've never seen the word "austral"before. And a word I've seen and heard many times, but never knew the precise meaning — craven. Good quiz!
...couch is more commonly used in america, despite the fact that it is derived from the french: coucher, to lie down, or thereabouts...unless it's used as a verb, of course......a chesterfield is a specific type of sofa...definitely not a couch...
Neophyte could use some more accepted answers. I tried fledgling first then apprentice then student (as in a master student relationship, when you just start out learning a trade) adept, i moved on to the other questions then but would ve continued with novice
but i guess maybe these arent dumb (enough) answers?

I was thinking old and overly bureaucratic. Too many words. Sigh
