Yup, Mr. Jinx, Autocat (Motor Mouse's nemesis), The Cattanooga Cats (and I know there's some other Hanna Barbera cats that I'm forgetting). And for the REALLY hard version of the puzzle: I suggest the author see the 1964 Chuck Jones animated film, "Gay Purree" staring Robert Goulet and Judy Garland. It's pretty much an all cat cast. Oh yeah, Mehitabel from the 1920s comic "Archie and Mehitabel" (they turned that one into the 1971 animated film "Shinbone Alley"). Then of course, there's Krazy Kat, Felix the Cat, Courageous Cat (a rather obscure tv cartoon from the 60's).....I'll stop now. Good quiz, btw!!!!
"That's one correction Sanrio made for my script for the show. Hello Kitty is not a cat. She's a cartoon character. She is a little girl. She is a friend. But she is not a cat. She's never depicted on all fours. She walks and sits like a two-legged creature. She does have a pet cat of her own, however, and it's called Charmmy Kitty."
This seems totally nonsensical to me. We know she's not a real cat. But she's very obviously a cat. An anthropomorphized cartoon cat, yes, but we understand that to mean she is a cat. In the same way that Goofy is a dog, and Mickey is a mouse. They walk on two legs but the fact that Mickey has a pet dog Pluto who walks on four legs doesn't change the fact that Mickey is a mouse. Show me a little girl with triangular ears on top of her head, white fur, and whiskers.
One time, after seeing a Cheetos commercial, I thought it would be really funny to teach my friend's 3-year-old son to say, "I'm a cool dude in a loose mood!" just to crack her up. On paper, it was a great plan. Bad move. He went up to her and proudly and confidently declared, "I'm a cool smood in a screwed mood!"
The look of shock on her face left me standing there with my mouth open, palms turned upward, shaking my head as if to say, "That's now how it was supposed to go." LOL!
Tom is not Jerry's rival. He is his best friend this is the reason he didn't kill him yet. He wants to protect him but he acts like he is catching him so his owners won't kick him out and get a new cat that could actually harm Jerry.
While I eventually got it, I feel like the Japanese cat could easily be referring to Maneki-Neko the lucky cat that waves to you from every Japanese restaurant. Spent forever trying to figure out how I had misspelled it to the point where I even googled it to make sure I had the spelling right.
