Ericson... son of Eric... duh... how'd I miss that... also... Iceland is Scandinavian? and Odin and Thor are both Aesir.

I'm pretty sure the Scandinavia consist of Denmark, Sweden and Norway. And the Nordic countries are Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland. But I'm not 100% sure :-)

I'm with Quizmaster...right or wrong, to me Scandanavia is the "way up there" countries + Denmark.

God after wednesday is named is called (by us) Wodan, but it wont accept that.

I'd say "Leif" would be a better answer than "Erikson" when searching for Leif Ericson. I had tried all kinds of things (Leif, Leifur, Leif the Lucky, Leif Eriksson...) before going for Erikson and getting it.

Leif Ericsson is usually spelled Eriksson in Scandinavia. Both spellings should be ok.
