While Stark Industries was responsible for the creation of many weapons I'm not sure I would classify it as a weapons company. Maybe R&D or Defense Contractor.
@fractaldoom R&D is research and development, companies that design electric tootbrushes and electric razor have those, wouldnt exactly call them weapons...
Trust me I have studied Industrial/enigneering design (hope it is the correct term in English) and R&D is NOT synonymous with weapons. That is such a ridiculous assumption that I dont even know what to say. Sure arms need to be designed and tested too. But that makes as much sense as saying weapons are made from metal so a bike or a bathtub is a weapon too..
On a side note, on of of our course we built fighting robots :D anyone familiar with robotwars?
But Tony Stark's company primarily made weapons and they researched mostly into weapons. It's a de facto weapons company at the very least, but I'm sure I've seen his company described as a weapons company in writing.
Geez, I tried "innkeeper" for Fawlty, which is more appropriate, but instead of complaining about my lack of knowledge of synonyms, I just went to typing "hotel" and called it a day.
This would be helpful. The company developed land, but didn't seem to receive income from buying and selling real estate like a real estate company would. Unless I have a poor understanding of what real estate companies do.
The 1971 movie was called "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory". The book (and 2005 movie) was called "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". While the real-life company may sell non-chocolate products, the fictional business was called a chocolate factory.
He makes chocolate and happens to invent other things too, the business is a chocolate factory. FYI it was written in the UK where it is very uncommon to refer to chocolate as candy (that would be hard sugar products) and it was inspired by his experience with a chocolate factory (Cadbury's) while at school.
I agree that prawn should be accepted. But I can't help but think the quote sounds a bit strange using prawn instead of shrimp: "Dey's uh, prawn-kabobs, prawn creole, prawn gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple prawn, lemon prawn, coconut prawn, pepper prawn, prawn soup, prawn stew, prawn salad, prawn and potatoes, prawn burger, prawn sandwich. That- that's about it."
No, the character is introduced as the owner of a friendly robot company, which is the most important part of MomCorp. Momcorp is a take on the conglomerate that constantly looks to absorb its competition, like in the second episode where Mom Corp. tries to take over Planet Express.
You should add Trump to this quiz. His life as a successful businessman and real estate developer was total fiction. The only thing that man has ever been successful at, other than winning the electoral college, is losing obscene amounts of his daddy's money.
I couldn't get Willy Wonka because I kept typing "candy factory". In my defense, gopstoppers are not chocolate. And neither was that gum that blew up Violet. Not to mention the burping drink.

Bloody British English, that's what you made to me!
I was just getting ashamed of myself, as by living in Britain I forgot most of the words used as synonim in the U.S.A. and uncommon there.
Skylar also helped run her husband's meth business.
