Almost didn't put the answer to the devil-dealer, as he really existed. I suppose he's a character in the fictional story about him?

I don't think Faust ever did exist. Both Marlowe and Goethe seem to have drawn on the life of Simon Magus, but he begins with 'S'.

Nah, Faust was a real guy. Look him up.
Level 54
Apr 15, 2016
Yeah I am only finding that he was a legend based on Simon Magus.

I thought Chicago truant was about a gangster... even though I know truancy is skipping school.

I got the barber of seville character by going through Bohemian Rhapsody lyrics in my head and typing in every word that started with F.
Level 81
Jun 13, 2016
I got it from being probably too obsessed with classical music. I know *Barber* better than I do Bohemian Rhapsody.
Level 59
Jan 7, 2017
I got it from a Bugs Bunny cartoon.
Level 69

I got on the wrong thread thinking that it was a character from the film Bohemian Rhapsody

Tried Fagan and several variations, but couldn't come up with Fagin.
Level 83
Jun 25, 2017
I got it eventually, but wasted a LOT of time. Surprised "Fagan" is not an acceptable misspelling. Seems a bit stringent, IMO.
Level 71

I tried Fagan, Faygan, Fagann, Faganne, Fegan, Feygan, Fahgan, Faghan, Faganh and several others before giving up. I think Fagan should be acceptable based on how lenient other name spellings are.
Level 58
Jan 26, 2021
I typed Fagan in like 10 times b/c I knew it was the name, haha. Finally tried with the I.
Level 80

Am I the only person who sang Bohemian Rhapsody out loud to get the answer?
Level 58

I did.
Level 16

I know somebody who owns a bear and sings Waka Waka Waka. Does that cunts as well ? Hmm...maybe nut.
Level 44
Apr 18, 2016
I seriously hope you meant 'Counts' there.
Level 69
Sep 12, 2022
Yeah, surprised that slipped through the censors

In That 70s Show, Fez was not that character's real name, but everyone called him Fes (yes, with an s at the end) for Foreign Exchange Student.

His real name was never given on the show, something that was made jokes of a few times.

At first for the bargain with the devil I was trying to figure out how to find an F in Charlie Daniels' "The Devil Went Down to Georgia". Fiddler Johnny was the only thing I could think of. I got the right answer eventually.

Pretty sure ''friar'' is not Friar Tuck's first name...

Thank you, French class, for letting me be in the 24% who knew Fantine on my first try.

I was thinking it was a REAL radio psychologist and it was driving me nuts. UGH - can't believe I missed that!

That Friar Tuck should really be saved for the "T" quiz. That's like saying President/Doctor/Bishop/etc. whoever should be listed under its titular letter.
