Really good quiz.. Wimpy was definitively the hardest one to find.

Hardest to find? Mr Burns and Buffy's friend were the ones I didn't know, but I didn't try to find them. The answer will be shown when the quiz is over.

I found Wimpy. He was hanging out at the "Spree Lunch" diner with Olive Oyl.

Who/what is wimpy? I feel dumb asking but I seriously have no idea.

He was a character in the old Popeye cartoons/comic strip. His tag line was "I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today".

He was also in the live action movie with Robin Williams as Popeye. He wears a tie and bowler hat.

I know who he is, but I don't know his name.

It took me forever. All I could think was "Smithers doesn't begin with a 'W'!"

"for human's return" - should either be "for humans' return" (to be plural, "human's" is singular) or "for humanity's return" perhaps?

I second this.

Thirded! Thought I'd be the only one twitching at this. ;)

On first glance, I thought it said "human's rectum." That was...puzzling.

Witch of the west should be accepted. I typed that in, then was very irritated when it didn't work and "wicked witch" did.
Level 64

I know just "Coyote" doesn't include a W but maybe it should be accepted like that as some last names are (e.g. for the Simpsons question). I know it's not a last name but please? :)
Level 77
Nov 11, 2016
Agreed. Or at least accept more spellings. I tried Willy Coyote, Will E. Coyote, Willie Coyote,...
Level 66

It's a pun - Wile. E = Wily. It's stupid, I know, but it does sound different than "Willy".

Can you accept "witch of the west" for "Wicked Witch of the West"?

Geekcheck: Wolverine's skeleton is made of bone like anyone else's. But it is sometimes coated with adamantium.

Would have never gotten the adamantium question without the picture

That IS the question.
