Also, interesting revelation about the name "Darth Vader" that I had while in Amsterdam watching The Village with Dutch subtitles: apparently Darth Vader means Dark Father. Which probably would have made the twist in Empire Strikes Back a little less surprising for anyone who spoke Dutch.
Vader is also a Dutch word but Darth isn't, it's made up and if I remember correctly it's related to the Rakata language within Star Wars. --That's even a google suggestion "darth dutch word", another popular misbelief.
I guess you're right. Though Vader still means "father." Dark father would be Donkere Vader, which doesn't sound as menacing. I wonder where I got the Darth = Dark from...
But Jonathan Kent was Clark Kent's foster father. He never even knew that Clark's real name was Kal-el until years later. When Superman was Kal-el, Jor-el was his father.

Green Goblin was a moniker for Norman Osbourne's alter ego. Agree they are the same man, but the "Green Goblin" is not Harry's father, Norman is.
