Not sure I quite understand his quiz. My understanding was Ireland, and most of the others, were fully independent at the start dates. Can you explain QM? Surely the Queen didn't remain as technical head of state of Ireland for 27 years after independence?
Wikipedia states that Ireland (not including Northern Ireland) was a dominion from 1922 until 1937. After that it gained independence, but was still technically de jure under the British crown until the republic act of 1948.
Actually, according to this wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish_Free_State British monarch was the head of Irish State till 1936 (or desputable 1937).
But the very same page gives information that Ireland was a dominion till 1931, not 1949 as indicated in this quiz
Also, I'd like to mention that a dominion status is a very different thing from having British monarch as a head of state, or being part of Commonwealth later on.
How about a quiz on all the countries all over the World that were at one time colonized and enslaved by the British Empire and in which all their natural resources were stripped from the country so that Evil Empire could enrich itself. After all the British Empire drew lines in the sand and across mountain ranges declaring who was who. Most of the ills in the World today can be traced back to the BE, most notably the Middle East and Central East. Should make for a great quiz.
It's also worth remembering that many ills have been carried out by many countries, not just Britain. In fact it is safe to say that no country, past or present is completely blameless.
They were never a Dominion. They went straight from being a constituent part of the British Empire to full, real, independence. That's what the Revolutionary War was about..
I think you should add the Dominion of New England based on the definition you provided in the description. It's a commonly forgotten piece of British, American, and colonial history. It's very interesting to learn about and investigate. I suggest looking at primary sources first before secondary sources.

I like idea of that quiz very much
