Something to yell when jumping out of a plane: Goodbye! :D (It's really annoying to miss an answer because of one letter - gen instead of gene. *facepalm*)
Not a native speaker, but I listened to New York-based artist "Wheatus" and their song "Teenage Dirtbag", which features a "gym class in half an hour", so I figured it was a class name in America as well. :D
Not to mention Gym Class Heroes, who are also American!
I only missed greed :/ Because I had never heard of the english word avarice, so I couldnt get the answer. To bad the clue wasnt something like, a character trait from scrooge or something. Or a bit more vague, what scrooge (or ebenezer) is, and then as answer greedy
Who is Jock, and why should I know what his favourite class is? Is this meant to be some kind of Scottish joke? Because I'm Scottish and I don't get it
In the USA & Canada, "jock" is a term roughly synonymous with "athlete" or someone primarily interested in sports/physical activity. It could be construed as the opposite of a nerd, and might be used in a derogatory fashion. See the Wikipedia article for more info.
I was about to ask what jock had to do with being Scottish, but from the article I see the term has that connotation in England & Wales.
Recommend changing the wording of the gorilla question. Typically a when discussing genera "largest" would mean the genus with the greatest number of species not the genus containing the largest physical species. A bit pedantic but definitely confused me at first. Why not just say largest [living] primate?
