You may have heard that sharks rarely attack humans, and generally only by mistake.
You might have also heard that shipwreck victims are pursued and eaten by sharks. How to reconcile these two facts...
The truth is that shark attacks near the shore are very rare. But one type of shark, the Oceanic whitetip, has been known to be very aggressive to humans, killing and eating shipwreck survivors. Fortunately, the Oceanic whitetip prefers deepwater, offshore areas, so they rarely come into contact with humans.
So while Great Whites have been responsible for the most recorded shark attacks, it's likely that Oceanic whitetips have killed far greater numbers.
SO many questions on here are about that movie. I really need to see it so I'm not grasping for answers every time. (I mean, I know the obvious quotes, but this website tests more than your knowledge of obvious quotes!)
I am surprised that only 43 percent of people got the Great Red Spot question right. You should probably also accept GRS for that question because that is a common abbreviation. Good Quiz!
Beeing not a native english speaker, I didn't know how it is commonly called in english. I tried "red eye", which is an translation of what is common in german, also "red dot", big red dot/eye", "great red dot/eye"...
If you don't know the proper term, there are so many answers that seem to be likely...
But "anticyclonic storm" is simply a type of storm that can happen on Earth as well, it doesn't refer to this storm specifically. Its official name is in fact the Great Red Spot, or GRS for short.
Amazing what properly reading a questions does... Spent way too much time thinking of another German athletic clothing company that had mountain on its logo after I trying Adidas since their newer logo is in 3 stripe mountain shape. After 2 minutes ruminating on the question I reread it and magically lion appeared in the clue. Weird how that extra word changed the answer and shifted it from one brother to the other.
I read it as mountain too! I could only think of North-face as a brand with a mountain, and thought hm is that German? did not expect that.. Well it wasn't haha
That's funny. So in both cases Robert De Niro was reprising a line made famous by Marlon Brando. What are the odds? We'll accept De Niro for that question.
I think I remember reading that tiger sharks attack humans much more often than great whites... but that great white attacks were more often lethal... too lazy to look it up right now but at first I thought the "recorded" caveat might have had something to do with that.

Bull Sharks are probably the subject of many Shark Attacks that are blamed on Great Whites.
It describes something similar to lava, not really hot, but you wouldn't like to touch it either... :D
