I was first told that that city's name was a French word very recently and I can't stop thinking about it. Totally changed my world view.

I first heard it spoken in French, which pronounces it properly still, so that's how I say it lol

I wonder where the R&J story (=concept) originates. It seems to be present in a handful of cultures, one of which is acknowledged near the Tomba di Giulietta in the city of Verona, Italy.

Does anyone know?
