I was first told that that city's name was a French word very recently and I can't stop thinking about it. Totally changed my world view.

I first heard it spoken in French, which pronounces it properly still, so that's how I say it lol

Romeo's age was never mentioned. He would have been between 13 and 21.

As for Juliet, we know her age because her father stated that, "She hath not seen the change of fourteen years." Paris replied, "Younger than she are happy mothers made."

I wonder where the R&J story (=concept) originates. It seems to be present in a handful of cultures, one of which is acknowledged near the Tomba di Giulietta in the city of Verona, Italy.

Does anyone know?

Well, the traditional animation method did consist of filming the sequence of pictures (more a composition of the movable parts against a static background) with a regular camera.
