I apparently had the answers to all but 1 of these stashed away in my brain somewhere. But for the 1 I didn't... I know a lot about basketball and football, a little about baseball and tennis, and not a whole lot about most other sports. Fortunately, I at least knew those were soccer team names, and Messi is 1 of the perhaps 3 active players I can name, so good enough, LOL!
Nailed it, although it took me ages to get to Singapore, I was cycling through every sunny coastal city I could think of in the Persian Gulf and the Americas first lmao
I tried meerkats, I know they mess with them and eat them. Not sure if they actively hunt them though (as in trying to find one). And they are also resistant to poison.
Edit apparently a meerkat is a type of mongoose. So it should be accepted I would say.
19/20, just missed tld because I forgot what that was I guess. Had no idea Ivan was John but I guessed it because it's one of the most common names so that made sense, got lucky guessing Singapore for the South Africa question cuz otherwise would not have thought of it
Good lord. I can’t believe the name “Patrick” wouldn’t come to me. I kept putting St. Peter and thinking, “well if it’s not the Irish one, I have no idea.”
Agreed. Paradoxical sleep is a valid synonymous term for REM sleep, named because in this state the brain appears to be awake despite the body being asleep.
A honey badger is a small mammal known for hunting snakes and being resistant to their venom. I kept trying "honey badger" like five times and couldn't understand why it didn't work. I think you should either accept "honey badger" as an alternate type-in, or tweak the clue to make it more specific.

Question should say "which US state" or the answer should be changed.
