I would say nosh is more than a snack. It is sit down nose in trough word, more than snacking.

Food is much better word. Thanks for accepting kalhahamut's request, because food is what I typed and it was right.

Oooh, I'm sorry. We must have that in the form of a question.

What is "Sure, Alex, everyone knows you're Canadian."?

Well you wouldn't hear the Americans whining about American bias would you? It's right to call out defaultism, when it's overboard in a "General Knowledge" quiz.

As this now in 2019 is under New And Reset Quizzes, half of them are about soccer (all but one English soccer), The Inbred Family and British geography and other Motherland of the Right Honourable Whinge b.s.

Those are all the ones on top of the list for me as they are ranked by points (0) and the links are still in blue type because I haven't clicked on them just to complain they're all about a country the website isn't based in.

I hate it when QM resets quizzes. I'm never going to get to level 76. I got up to 20975, and I figured the next day I'd advance, then the next day I'm back to 20950. I recently haven't been able to do quizzes every day but I still got up to 20982, then the next day it was down again and I just kept going up and down without getting anywhere. Today I checked and I've dropped all the way down to 20937. Aarggh! I guess I missed my chance, and I'll just have to be happy being stuck on level 75 for a while. Lesson to self: Just enjoy the quizzes and stop worrying about levels.

You should accept 'pillar' or 'wall' for the Hajj question, because that's what is actually stoned...the 'devil' being the symbolic meaning.

WHO gets stoned during Hajj? Clearly asks for a person.
+2
Level 14
Nov 22, 2015
Well then, perhaps the question isn't phrased correctly as it is not a person getting stoned, it is just pillars which are symbols of the devil.

How the hell can one skip a question one has no idea what the answer is???? Silly to get only one correct because one doesn't know musicians in Guns and roses. If one can skip, then I have no idea how. Used all my time trying various ways to do it. Maybe a hint to us dummies?

The von Trapp children's names were not actually Liesl, Friedrich, etc. Those were more appealing names chosen when the story was being turned into a stage show. There were also quite a few more than 7 children by the end! I highly recommend reading Maria's books for anyone who loved The Sound of Music.

Should be 'younger daughter' or 'youngest child'. There are only 2 girls, so the comparative is appropriate in that case. I shall now polish my smugness.
