I actually only knew that answer because the Simpsons depicts Elvis shooting his TV after being displeased with an episode of Itchy & Scratchy. So in my world, it *is* a cartoon.
One story is that while Elvis was serving overseas in the Army his girlfriend was a singer doing shows with Robert Goulet. Elvis would get frequent letters and postcards from his girlfriend, and one day a postcard arrived with a snide remark added by Goulet to the effect of, "While you're away I'm taking really good care of her." Years later Elvis was in his hotel room in 'Vegas and saw Goulet on TV. He took out his gun and shot Goulet on the TV.
You're confusing 'Bloody Mary' (Elizabeth's older sister) who reigned as queen of England with Mary Queen of Scots (who Elizabeth eventually had executed.)
Woo, 20/20! I've gotten 18 and 19/20 a ton of times on these general knowledge quizzes, but I think this is the first time I've ever gotten 100% on one.
I'm guessing that most people simply don't have much of a knowledge of Australian soap operas. I know about Kylie Minogue and have heard she was on a soap, but ask me to actually name it? If you're Australian, how many American or Canadian soap operas can you name?
The hint that Kylie was in there is fair enough. In Germany we don't know about Australian soaps either, but certainly there are people who know that one one in which one Kylie played.
Still wouldn't help me. I've never heard of Donovan, either. I've heard the Minogue name, but no idea who she is - I'm assuming she's a singer? At least I've seen a few more Australian shows since my earlier comment, but still no soaps.
As an Australian who has never watched Neighbours, I have been astounded on more than one occasion when someone makes a reference to it on a British TV show. Some people apparently watch it.
You have a source for that? Because every respectable source I can find says that DDT was a major factor in declining bald eagle populations. [Sources: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
I thought of Lando too, but surely if you knew Lando flew it, you know the ship is Han's. Ask anyone to whom the Millennium Falcon belongs, and unless they're intentionally being obtuse, they'll tell you it's Han's ship.
At this point in the movies, Lando, Han, Rey and Poe have all been pilots of the Falcon. Lando, Han, Rey and (arguably) the Resistance have all owned the Falcon. Please reword the question to better specify Han as the answer.
Could you accept Le Bourget for Lindbergh's landing place ? As a former Parisian I didn't think of Paris (it's a good 10 km from the landing spot) at first.
No, it's definitely a city of its own, and not part of Paris. However, the airport is called Paris - Le Bourget, so both Paris and Le Bourget would make good answers!
You should accept Tennessee for the bourbon question. It's at least as much associated with bourbon as Kentucky, if not more. It's the home of Jack Daniels (a straight bourbon) and featured in the song "Tennessee Whiskey."
Jack Daniel's is not bourbon. It's Tennessee whiskey (and yes, that song is great), which is similar but is prepared slightly differently. Most people can't taste the difference between bourbon and Tennessee whiskey, but there is a difference. Bourbons mostly come from Kentucky.
Technically, bourbon whiskey is supposed to be from Bourbon county, Kentucky, although today, anything American made from sour mash can call itself bourbon. I've had some amazing "bourbons" from Illinois, Pennsylvania, or the Pacific Northwest!
I sure can't tell the difference between the two or a dozen other types of whiskey. They are all poison to me. I do find the distilling process fascinating & have toured a few distilleries. The only difference between the two that I remember though is that Tennessee whiskey is supposed to be sweeter than bourbon. FYI, I'm such a lightweight these days that I recently had one sip of that nasty snake-in the-bottle Vietnamese whiskey & was sick for the rest of the day.
I can't believe the MOnty Pythons is the least known answer, it was one of the easiest for me (I had no clue about the TV shooting and peanut butter, though.)

Wasn't Jason Donovan in there, too?
It's fun how we all know different things.
