Michael Clayton was the least guessed. Yet it might be the best movie on this list. Tom Wilkinson, Tilda Swinton, Sydney Pollack and Clooney are all great in it. Clooney has a talent for giving ordinary characters extraordinary depth. And Tony Gilroy masterfully applies Hitchcock-level suspense to the mundane world of corporate law. Just my opinion but I highly recommend this movie.
I agree the movie was good but for some reason I never really liked Tom Wilkinson. I think his mannerisms are just too distinct and are largely the same for every character he plays, so they become grating...
