It may happen. There is only one governor in the race who could still get 3% of the primary vote (Kasich). But there's also the chance that somebody else could be nominated at a contested convention or run as an independent in the general election.
Great quiz but, as the quizler said, Nelson Rockefeller was a Republican. Back in 1968 there were still conservative Democrats and liberal Republicans, and Rockefeller was one of those...he and others like him were gradually pushed out and by the time Ronald Reagan was elected in 1980, there were already almost none of them left in positions of power.

i don't know much about the US political system but can someone explain to me the seemingly arbitrary cutoff of 1968? were governors not allowed to run for president before that date?
