Is it on Visigoths? They've had a bad reputation since the fall of Rome. You sack and pillage one city pivotal to the development of Western Civilization...
Many people believe that elite universities unfairly discriminate against Asians. In my opinion it is remarkably similar to the anti-Jewish discrimination of the 1900s.
I did that with Cotton Mather. I thought of the last name, and then for some reason I thought "No, Cotton Mather is the name of the character from Scream. It's not him."
out of curiosity, is NCAA not a sports league? Harvard competes in NCAA games as far as I know. didn't realize ivy league was a sports league, I usually just think of it as a group of elite universities in the U.S.
The NCAA is the governing body of all collegiate athletics, but schools play in separate leagues (the ACC, the Pac-12, the Big Ten, the SEC, the America East, and so on). The Ivy League is the oldest of the athletic conferences. It is composed of (most of) America's oldest universities, all of which are highly regarded for sure, but in fact there are several schools that "outrank" (if you put a lot of stock in that kind of thing) certain Ivy League schools. Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Columbia are truly elite universities, with Penn close behind. Cornell, Brown, and Dartmouth are very well-regarded as well (top 20 nationally), but there are other more elite schools that the average person might overlook for not being "Ivy League": U. Chicago, Stanford, Northwestern, MIT, Duke, Johns Hopkins.
It's the governing body of most schools with the most "serious" athletic programs, but there are other collegiate athletic organizations in the US like NAIA, NJCAA, and more.
