Wow, I didn't know I knew SO much about New Jersey history! A few were guesses based on part of the clue, but it's still amazing to miss only two.

Technically, anthrax is wrong. Anthrax is the disease, not the bacteria. The species of bacteria that causes anthrax is bacillus anthracis.
