I couldn't think of the frog's name, but I kept thinking, "It's something to do with Michigan...." DUH.

Neither the little Martian or the singing frog were ever named in the actual cartoons. They were dubbed Marvin and Michigan many years later by Chuck Jones.

@ Dollar Bill, most people probably don't remember those characters. You seem to have Googled "Looney Tunes characters" and wrote those in.

I didn't know the frog had a name.

Kept typing "Martin the Martian" and wondering why it wasn't accepted. Sigh.

You're thinking about Uncle Martin - "My Favorite Martian". I did the same thing at first.

I couldn't remember the name Witch Hazel. I did remember an episode where a man came to her door with flowers asking for "Suzanne". Sadly, Suzanne was not an accepted answer.

+1 for Pete Puma. The greatest minor character in Looney Tunes history

I once had a parakeet that would say, "I tawt I taw a puddy tat. I diiiid! I did tawt I taw a puddy tat." (he put his own little twist on it) Priceless!!!

Huh. I was able to call all these characters to mind pretty much instantly (though not, unfortunately, all their names), except for the witch. I have zero memory of a witch character in the Looney Tunes cartoons.

“Egghead Junior “ was the little chick who wore glasses and was always reading a book. Foghorn Leghorn was his “mentor” of sorts.

"Pay attention, boy! I'm not just talkin' to hear my head roar!" --Foghorn Leghorn

I'm not sure if I've ever actually seen any Looney Tunes cartoons, but I have seemingly absorbed enough through cultural osmosis to get the majority of these. On an unrelated note, I don't think the people who designed the Tasmanian Devil had ever actually seen one. I mean the most distinctive feature of a devil is its black fur and white chest stripe. To be honest, Pepe Le Pew probably looks more like an actual Tasmanian Devil, apart from the tail. Anyway, that's my griping as a Tasmanian done.
