Eddie Murray led the “entire Major Leagues” in batting in 1990 at .330. Willie McGee hit .335 in the NL and won the NL batting title, but was traded during the season and hit .274 in the AL for a season total of .324.
I kept thinking that too and I was getting mad it wouldn't accept Yaz. But he led the AL only with .326 average and Clemente hit .357 in the NL in 1967 when Yaz won the Triple Crown.
It'd be shocking if Coors didn't produce several; that said, Walker, Helton, the Big Cat, and LeMahieu are legit hitters who could hit anywhere (and all but Helton now have had successful years away from Coors), not trying to take anything away from them.
Fixed. I love how when he moved to Cleveland they changed the name of the team to the "Cleveland Naps". I think the Cavaliers probably should have done that for LeBron as well.
Ok I got it now...I didn't realize it was for both leagues... Miguel Cabrera has won 4 with Detroit, Harry Heilmann won 4 as well, and Cobb listed here with 9 batting titles actually had 12.
