Darn, I had to go through U.S. Customs to spend the night at the hotel we booked in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Canada should file a grievance with the U.N.
Sault Ste. Marie "... is a city in, and the county seat of, Chippewa County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It lies on the northeastern end of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, on the Canadian border, separated from its twin city of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, by the St. Marys River ..."
Just a small nitpick: it's "Mackinaw" City. The county, the bridge, the island, the airport, and the fort are all spelled with a C, but for some reason the village of Mackinaw is spelled with a W.
Surprised to get 100%. I know a fair bit about Michigan but haven't really spent any time there. I thought there'd be some I didn't know. In the end, it was a 50/50 between Alpena and Bad Axe and I guessed right.
