I forgot to finish the row with croatia...and wondered about san marino too. Tried it twice, as I was missing just one.... But I remembered slovenia, montenegro and the islands...
Missed Lebanon. Probably could have guessed harder and got it, but I honestly didn't know that it is on the Mediterranean. Awesome to learn something new!
You said it yourself. It is an overseas territory that does NOT make up part of the the UK. Unlike Hawaii is a part of the USA and Fremch Guiana is a part of France, The UK DOES NOT include overseas territories.
I got 100%, but if we want to get technical, most of the former Yugoslavia (Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro) borders the Adriatic or Ionian at best, not the Mediterranean proper. However, it fits into the theme I suppose.
Greece was the last one I got. I was thinking I must have already put it when I saw the one remaining was between France and Israel. ""F, G, H, I....could be Greece? No, I've already put that, ...what, wait...no I havn't! 2.02 left
100%... The last country I typed in was surprisingly the most guessed country... I was sitting there thinking: What could be between Israel and Lebanon alphabetically? I guess I thought I had already typed it in.
I needed two more. After time was finished but hadnt scrolled down to the answers yet I realised I typed crete instead of cyprus! (I ve only been up a few minutes.. and cant exactly call it awake..) maybe it not being accepted wasnt weird to me because of all the cyprus isnt in europe stuff... and I just accepted that it wasnt accepted...
and ofcourse...as allways... I forgot greece... poor greece..:/
It is sometimes unclear how "Mediterranean Sea" is defined. Bosnia, Slovenia, and Montenegro technically border the Adriatic Sea, not the Med. Yes, the Adriatic is an arm of the Mediterranean, but in that case, so is the Black Sea, which adds another group of countries.
The International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) divides the Mediterranean into a number of smaller waterbodies, each with their own designation (from west to east):[36]
the Strait of Gibraltar;
the Alboran Sea, between Spain and Morocco;
the Balearic Sea, between mainland Spain and its Balearic Islands;
the Ligurian Sea between Corsica and Liguria (Italy);
the Tyrrhenian Sea enclosed by Sardinia, Italian peninsula and Sicily;
the Ionian Sea between Italy, Albania and Greece;
the Adriatic Sea between Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Albania;
Now, how many of us randomly type in answers and when missing one, e.g. Morocco, think "Oh, I already put in Morocco! what else can it be…" I swear, this happens every time
But seriously, you could just google this before commenting something that can be riven wrong quite easily
MATE(Matthew 07)
then inundate us with their "superior knowledge"! - In reality,
except for egregious mistakes, WE REALLY DON'T CARE!!!
Isn't it?????????????
*gets embarrassed
and ofcourse...as allways... I forgot greece... poor greece..:/
nevermind haha... like I said, not fully awake yet (tries to act natural and not embarrassed...)
