That's crazy. The google source says 34.66 million in 2016. Wikipedia gives 29.72 million for 2017. The difference in between is HUGE. No idea why and what is correct. For quiz purposes great as long as there's one source for it all.
That's because the country has lost a massive number of people because of the war, and it's hard to calculate how many, that's why sometimes it has diferent numbers.
So even though there appears to be no land border between them, Lake Tanganyika is considered a true border for DRC and Tanzania? I have always thought "border" to mean land border.
True. I guess there aren't many examples of borders like this that are exclusively lakes rather than rivers. I suppose if I asked myself "what country IS the border in that area?", there wouldn't be any other answer.
This is interesting because I definitely would not say that Illinois borders Michigan, even though if their borders were extended into lake Michigan they would touch.
On the cited source ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_and_dependencies_by_population ) Indonesia is 4th and Malaysia 41st. (41+4)/2 = 22.5, putting it just off this list.
38 and 19, that would give the average of 28,5 so not close enough it must be an average of 22 or under to make it onto this list. (France and Germany is 22 and obviously 19 again)
I don't think I would have gotten France and Germany if France didn't populate because I got it with Brazil. I guess I could say that with others too, but in every other case I knew at least one of the countries was quite populous.
