Stop using wikipedia as a source for quizzes like this; use the CIA World Factbook instead. https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/resources/the-world-factbook/
May I ask why? Is it because "Wikipedia is untrustworthy"? Sorry to tell you, but every source is untrustworthy. Every source will differ from each other, and some are untrustworthy. Or is it because "anybody can edit on Wikipedia", rarely will there be incorrect information on Wikipedia, and people could notice the error and fix it. Also, you can check the references to see if the Wiki page and the sources are similar or not
According to the CIA World Factbook (updated July 2017), there are only a couple differences. Iran is ahead of Turkey, which is ahead of Germany and Tanzania fell to 26th (behind Myanmar/Burma and South Africa). So, the Wikipedia page is still accurate, for the time the data was received. As of July 2017, Iran has 1.3 million more people than Turkey, which has less than 300,000 more people than Germany.
I forget the exact numbers, but I believe the majority of the population lives within about 100km (or maybe it was miles) of the border with the U.S. Everything north of that is rather empty
Want to be scared? India will surpass China in population by 2100. Want to be terrified? It'll surpass the U.S. for life expectancy in less than half that time if current rates hold.
arrggg... 23/24. For 90 seconds I was trying to think of the last country. Tanzania popped into my head multiple times, but i didn't think it had 60 million people.
given that brazil has 212 million, I'm no math genius but I'm fairly sure that means South America has more than 58 million. perhaps you meant South Africa?
I have this problem every time I do the nations of the world quiz as I approach Europe from the east. I write "Uk" (UK comes up) then "rainebeleruspolandgermanydenmarknetherlands" before I realise what I've done
Wow I came back to this quiz after 4 years and the numbers have completely changed! Since I last took this quiz, looks like Pakistan and Nigeria have surpassed 200 million people and Indonesia is gaining fast on the USA. I still remember when Nigeria first entered the top 10 list!
I suck at countries in geography compared to you guys tbh, cause I only got 19 of these correct on my first attempt but I always get all of them right on flag quizzes idek why xD
I really wasn't expecting Tanzania to be on here. I had 8 seconds left, and I was missing one country, and I was about to admit defeat, then I tried Tanzania and it was actually right.
According to Quizmaster’s source, India is actually still 7 million behind China. So no need to party just yet. Unless if you’re using another source obviously.
India now (maybe) the most populated country now, not sure though. But I think they are now since they grow faster than China and China lost a few million people last year. China's population will soon start to decline while India's population will continue to grow until it reaches 1.6-1.7 billion people by the end of the century. China on the other hand will drop down to around 1 billion.
that's a shame
How come this 2 countries makes the list despite of being only a little urbanised
Typed in Ukraine too..it was one of those "I just assumed I already wrote it," moments
Missed Italy (Quite surprised Italy was on there)
100%
(only 7 btw)
1. China
2. India
3. USA
4. Indonesia
5. Pakistan
By the time the secret serial killers are done their population will be cut by a fourth O_O
but fr nobody really cares I'm saying it to make myself feel accomplished. :D
plz see my quizzes if you want
Maybe I just spelled it wrong...
