Could you please accept "Who cares?" for Anne Heche?

That could fill in an awful lot of blanks in most trivia quizzes.

I don't think that question even belongs in this quiz. It's not about movies... it's about the personal life of a talk show host. Even back then, she wasn't doing movies, was she? Just tv? (yes, I know I could google it, but I just don't care enough to).

I don't think it really belongs either, but Anne Heche certainly was in movies back then, even if Ellen wasn't, so there is some connection to the topic.

It just occurred to me, that Ellen Degeneres's dating partners are not movie trivia. Even if they were well known movie actresses, and I'm not sure Anne Heche is! What was she in, Godzilla or something?

I don't necessarily think of that as a movie question, either, but yes, they were both in movies. Anne Heche was in a bunch of stuff at the time (e.g. Six Days, Seven Nights; Psycho; Donnie Brasco). Ellen DeGeneres was in the instant classic Mr. Wrong (did the sarcasm come through?). And of course she did Finding Nemo a little later.

I agree that it's not movie trivia. It's celebrity trivia. But then, same with the Emilio Estevez question. Oh, well.

She was in Cedar Rapids too. That movie was a lot better than I expected.

Neither does the Jolie one, in that case, but I don't see anyone complaining about that. Two guesses as to why this one does rile people up.

I typed in Heche, and when it came up I thought, "My God, that was all the way back in 97-2000?"

I sort of mixed up Grosse Pointe Blank with Point Break and tried to type Point Blank. When that wasn't it, my brain went point blank and I just gave up.

When I saw the question I knew right away there would be people protesting :). While it looks it didn't stop the vast majority of people from getting it right (currently third most-guessed answer), it IS true that it's inexact as currently worded. How about just nudging the problematic word in another spot and say instead "What supernatural movie had a sexy pottery scene?"

Bummed that the Anne Heche one didn't accept "Celestia" as an alternate answer, which is the first thing that came to my mind.
