Do you think promit could possibly get a perfect score on this quiz?... Having seen somewhere along the lines of two thousand five hundred plus films? Gosh, I hope he leaves a comment.
Not even... Spock would only have been around 56 at the time of The Voyage Home. Although he did just die and get resurrected several months earlier, so maybe he was actually less than a year old! :-)
It always puzzled me how answers like "Shawshank" or "Slumdog" are given with the first word, but not others like "Silence" or "Sleepless". What are the rules for accepting shorter answers?
My guess is because words like "Shawshank" and "Slumdog" are really only associated with their respective movies, while "Sleepless" and "Silence" could mean any number of other things.
I typed in santa claus but didn't accept as I didn't type the 'e'
I know the movie is spelt like that but you should accept the other way of spelling, without the 'e' as you know what we mean.. other then that, good quiz
Sadly the Spicegirls made their way round most of the western world, especially the English speaking bits. Not sure we ever got the Sandlot film in Britain, baseball is a near nonentity over here. If only the Spicegirls had been the same.
Sorry that one of my favorites, Steel Magnolias, wasn't on here. I don't remember any other movie which made me laugh and cry so much, often at the same time. As Truvey said, "Laughter through tears is my favorite emotion."
Easy, got them all. You should have also included "Some Like it Hot," "Sunset Boulevard," "Shakespeare in Love," "Sawdust and Tinsel," "Seven Samurai," "A Serious Man," "The Story of the Last Chrysanthemums," "The Servant," and "A Summer's Tale." Especially over many of the really lousy movies that are here instead!
Spock is barely in his mid-hundreds.
