It was also Matt Damon's debut, before he turned 18. There were a couple other teenagers who are now mature actors and Vincent D'Onofrio not long after Full Metal Jacket. It's been a couple decades since I saw it.

I'm willing to bet 90% of getting Fried Green Tomatoes came from that one Simpsons episode (guilty here too. I had no idea all those three things actually existed until I looked it up years later :P).

I just remember there was a trailer for it at the beginning of several of my favourite VHS tapes and I really hated the look of it, so I know the name well but I've never seen it.

Never seen the Simpsons episode. Fried Green Tomatoes was quite popular in its day, and has an enduring cult following. One of my favorite movies.

BTW, the Weeds character was played by Mary-Louise Parker, who played Ruth Jamison in "FGT."

Thought you should know. Thanks for updating the site, if the link situation could be fixed I think this notification system could be a very positive thing.

A case could be made for "Animal Crackers" in that hypothetical double-blank as well since those two words together constitute a specific known food.
