Queen Mary should be Mary I, to distinguish her from Mary II or the Queen Consorts named Mary.

but... but then I'd never have guessed it! Hmm, looks like a Victorian era monarch... Victoria? no... Elisabeth? no... Catherine? no... Mary? Yay, moving on...

Which is why it took me a while to get to her, honestly. But if there was only one Victorian Era monarch, does that mean the world was united in that era?
+5

No, it means that by definition, during the reign of Victoria, hence Victorian era.

plats is saying that there was more than one monarchy in the world during the Victorian era.

Queen Mary is from the Tudor era- 1500-1600ish, whereas the Victorian era is the 1800's. but is is easy to guess- they tend to recycle names lol

In 100 years from now only 13/20 people here will be known. The rest will have dropped into obscurity.

A couple of years late, but I'm curious which 7 you think will fade to obscurity? I'm guessing mostly those from the 20th century, having stood the shortest test of time?

What a wondeful, ecelectic mix of people. I missd Vlad, Miles and Ulysses - great names though, wouldn't miss them again. Great quiz thank you.

To add to the comments above, yes, I think that's Mary I isn't it? So shouldn't 'I' come up on the answer even if not required to get it right?

Having Neil Armstrong on a quiz where people like me will type Armstrong for Louis Armstrong will let in a lot of accidental points for Neil.

Awesome Quiz! ⭐ Nice variety of cultures and time periods represented here. Put in Armstrong for Miles Davis and it lit up the astronaut (Neil Armstrong not Louis...). Figured out Davis later and got 100%!

A different picture for Neil Armstrong should be used. "Armstrong" can clearly be seen embroidered on his suit.

I have never heard of James Dean till now, I'm an 18 year old Englishman in case that explains anything. My first thought was a young Clint Eastwood.

He wasn't in very many films because he died so young in a car crash, but this is also partly why he's so famous. He was in Rebel Without a Cause which was popular and then he died, sadly.

Could you give leeway to spelling for "Frida Kahlo"? I kept spelling her first name Freida or Freda, and spelling Kahlo correctly, and it wouldn't give it to me.

How do you accept Marie but not Frida?
+2
Level 78
Jan 3, 2022
Because in all Jet Punk tests, surnames are accepted and first names aren't.

Your mistake is probably thinking that Antoinette is a surname, but it's just her second given name. Her surname would be "of Austria" or "Habsburg".

+2
Level 68
Jan 3, 2022
It's actually not her second given, but the second half of her given name, which was "Marie-Antoinette". I've long advocated that Marie without the Antoinette shouldn't be accepted on these quizzes.

Never realized how much older Salvador looks like older Vincent Price. My first thought was this picture must have been taken just a few days before Vincent Price he died.
