Some of these very forgettable tenures make you appreciate what Barry Sanders did. Jerry Rice on the Seahawks. Randy Moss on the Titans. Donovan McNabb on the Vikings. Favre's season with the Jets (although I remember he did very well on the Vikings afterward). There really is something to be said for going out on top.

Favre's second season with the Vikings was even worse than his season with the Jets. At least it certainly felt that way, to a Vikings fan.

I was so close to spelling Vinatieri right. I think I had two 'r's. And when that didn't work, I moved the extraneous 'i' around. Anyway, maybe loosen up the spelling requirement on that one.
