I did a Pokemon-themed craft with some junior high kids the other day... and it turns out many of them can't name the 1st generation Pokemon! Makes me feel better about not knowing the more recent ones.

If it was which name belongs to which picture maybe I could ve guessed some ( an idea for a quiz someone? a beginnersversion. Like you have extreme hard harry potter with characters that only have been mentioned once and you have the ones that like only asks the 3 main characters and the professor..)

Reading them I think recognized 3, bulbasaur, psyduck and charmander. a few more look slightly familiar, but if they were like hidden in list with made up names and you had to say which were truely pokemon or not, I wouldnt be sure. (charizard ivysaur, geodude, ow and hypno)

Yeah, first time I did, I got 140/151

Second time, 151/151

Now, 144/151

I can't believe that I am such a HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEE PokeFan but I am not even sure to know all original 151 Pokemon. I remember all the Gen 2 Pokemon tho

Cool quiz, first generation is the only one i'm familiar with, although i only scored 63.

Interesting to see that Exeggcute and Exeggutor are the least popular Pokemon, maybe they're difficult to spell or simply they don't have any strong move nor have they ever played any important role in the series.
